Pan

       WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!! I recently watched Pan, and it was a really good movie. It is about Peter Pan, but with a different point of view. Basically, his mom has to leave him at an orphanage for his own good. His orphanage is very strange, and one day he and some other boys get kidnapped and are taken to Neverland. By the first day, he realizes he can fly, and goes on a journey to find his mother, who left a clue that she was somewhere on the island. Peter must go on an adventure to find his Mom, and save the world from a fierce pirate by the name of Blackbeard

The Hobbit

            The Hobbit is an amazing movie series. It is by far my favorite! It has adventure and lots of action that make the series fun to watch. There is also a lot of exciting fight scenes as well. There are also a lot of different characters in the series that are fun to follow, each with a different backstory.

        The main character, is a hobbit. Bilbo Baggins from the Shire, where he lives. A hobbit is a kind of creature that just like to relax, and never set foot out of their home. One day, Bilbo was asked to go on an adventure by a wizard named Gandalf. He was asked to help dwarves claim back their home, a mountain, that had been stolen by a villainous dragon, Smaug. Bilbo was to be their burglar. There are thirteen dwarves they are:

The dwarves each follow their king, Thorin, who is determined to reclaim his homeland. Meanwhile, Gandalf is a wise wizard, and is worried that a horrible spirit has been awoken. He goes on a journey to make it certain that he is back so that he can be prepared for the worst.
       Bilbo then finds a ring that he steals from a creature named Gollum that he realizes has special powers, when he puts it on and disappears. Spoiler!! The ring ends up being the ghost's. Well, they eventually find the mountain, Smaug is killed, but Thorin is obsessed with finding a very powerful jewel called the Arkenstone. It gives the king the right to rule. He has been corrupted by it, and others want their mountain, and a big war happens. A bunch of awesome characters die, and it's definitely the saddest part. I cried a lot. You have no idea!!!

Star Wars

                               Let's talk Star Wars! The new Star Wars the Force Awakens just came out, and it was a huge hit! It made millions of dollars!
 The movie stars Rey, the new hero. She is the emerging Jedi in this action packed movie. Without any training whatsoever, she has already proved to be a very powerful Jedi. She was able to escape the villainous Kylo Ren without harm. Her father remains a mystery, but many think that she is a relative of the famous Luke Skywalker who has gone missing..... Many other characters are introduced as well. One of them being Poe (a personal favorite of mine). He may not be a Jedi, but that doesn't stop him from being a hero. Finn is also introduced, a new protagonist and former stormtrooper. Cutest of all, BB8 makes his début. He is an adorable, loyal droid that belongs to Poe. BB8 carries something very important: a map that leads straight to Luke Skywalker, which everyone is after. He has many funny scenes, this being one of them:

Han and Chewbacca are back in the game as well, and are trying to save the galaxy from the First Order (bad guys). Sadly, after appearing in all those movies, Han Solo is killed by his own son who betrays him to prove that he is on the dark side. Poor Chewbacca, Han's lifelong friend, is distraught and is able to weaken Kylo by shooting him, turning him weak. Poor Chewy!😢 Poor Han!! I was so sad. I cried forever. Han was one of the best characters!! But at least Po didn't die. BEST CHARACTER EVER!!😎

 

 

All About Me!!

My name is Claire, and I enjoy acting and playing sports, my favorite being baseball. I love acting a lot and have been in two plays, The Hobbit, and Peter Pan. In The Hobbit I was a clueless goblin, Dork, and in Peter Pan I was a lost boy raccoon twin, along with my friend Evie. I love movies, and talking about them with other people. My favorite movie series is easily The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series. I would love to inform people about my favorite movies, and talking about them with other people who love them as much as I do.

SPRING BREAK!!!

I can’t believe that it’s spring break already!  I am going to miss school.

Who doesn’t love a whole extra week away from school, to do whatever you want? School really stresses me out, and over spring break, I can spend time with my friends and family without having to stress out about all my schoolwork. It is so important to me that students and kids get a break once in a while to have fun. It means everything to me. The best way to spend it in my opinion, is on vacation with my friends and family. If America cancelled spring break, I think that me and my family would just skip a week of school anyway, and just be counted absent. Nothing is going to stop me from having spring break!  This year, I am going to my great uncle’s ranch called the Hackberry. It is the best place in the world! We can fish, hunt, ride in the jeep, and basically do whatever we want. I even drove a four wheeler around the ranch before! It is really beautiful!! The fish there are huge!! I once caught a seven pound fish!! Luckily, there’s plenty to do, especially since my cousins go there with me. It is definitely my favorite place to go during spring break, and nothing can beat it. Not even a trip to Hawaii! The trouble with spring break is that by the time I get back from it, I have no idea what’s going on in school. It takes me another week of school before I get back in the game again. Problem is, spring break seems to go by really fast. We have to enjoy it while we have it, because it’s the last break before summer. I can’t wait! Let me know what you guys are doing for spring break!!
